We built it because of one search.
Orate, our teleprompter app, has the word "teleprompter" in its name. On Oct 27, 2026 it ranked #155 for that word in the US App Store.
The tools we could afford showed us numbers like these and stopped there. We still had to work out what to change, type it into App Store Connect, and guess afterwards whether it helped. Rankmint does all three, and we're building it on Orate, in public, first.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
Apple's public iTunes Search API, called from your own Mac. Rank is your real position in each country's results. Demand is an estimate based on how strongly the top apps target a phrase, because Apple doesn't publish search counts outside Search Ads. Connect a Search Ads account later and Rankmint uses Apple's own popularity score instead. Full methodology.
Is it safe to connect App Store Connect?
You create an API key with the App Manager role. It's stored in your Keychain and only ever sent to Apple. Rankmint shows every change before saving it, re-reads your listing right before writing, keeps a copy of what was there, and never submits your app for review.
What do I need?
A Mac running macOS 14 or later. The iPad and iPhone apps come with the same purchase. AI suggestions need a Mac with Apple Intelligence; other Macs get rule-based suggestions.
Google Play?
Not at launch. It's planned for later in 2027.

What if it doesn't ship on time?
If Rankmint isn't on the App Store by Feb 1, 2027, every early-bird buyer gets a full refund and keeps their keyword report.
