Choose Astro if

  • You need a keyword tool today, before November 5.
  • You want Apple Search Ads popularity numbers, or more than 20 countries.
  • You're happy to write your listing yourself and judge results from rank history.

Choose Rankmint if

  • You'd rather pay once: the early-bird price is less than half a year of Astro.
  • You want it done end to end: keywords chosen, listing written within Apple's limits, saved to App Store Connect, and a report after release.
  • You want to compare countries, including how many ratings you'd need to reach the top 10.

The honest gap

Astro's popularity scores come from Apple Search Ads. Rankmint estimates demand from how many top apps target a phrase, because Apple doesn't publish search counts outside Search Ads. Treat Rankmint's numbers as comparisons between keywords, not search counts; with a Search Ads account, Rankmint can use Apple's score instead. The methodology explains each number.
